All comments welcome!! It is how I get my questions answered. ~Good Morning~ 22 Don't say, "I will get even for this wrong." 24 The Lord directs our steps, 30 Physical punishment cleanses away evil; 5 Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, 17 Those who love pleasure become poor; 20 The wise have wealth and luxury, 7 Just as the rich rule the poor, 15 A youngster's heart is filled with foolishness, Proverbs 20-22:16 (New Living Translation) Proverbs 20 1 Wine produces mockers; alcohol leads to brawls. 2 The king's fury is like a lion's roar; 3 Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor; 4 Those too lazy to plow in the right season 5 Though good advice lies deep within the heart, 6 Many will say they are loyal friends, 7 The godly walk with integrity; 8 When a king sits in judgment, he weighs all the evidence, 9 Who can say, "I have cleansed my heart; 10 False weights and unequal measures— 11 Even children are known by the way they act, 12 Ears to hear and eyes to see— 13 If you love sleep, you will end in poverty. 14 The buyer haggles over the price, saying, "It's worthless," 15 Wise words are more valuable 16 Get security from someone who guarantees a stranger's debt. 17 Stolen bread tastes sweet, 18 Plans succeed through good counsel; 19 A gossip goes around telling secrets, 20 If you insult your father or mother, 21 An inheritance obtained too early in life 22 Don't say, "I will get even for this wrong." 23 The Lord detests double standards; 24 The Lord directs our steps, 25 Don't trap yourself by making a rash promise to God 26 A wise king scatters the wicked like wheat, 27 The Lord's light penetrates the human spirit, 28 Unfailing love and faithfulness protect the king; 29 The glory of the young is their strength; 30 Physical punishment cleanses away evil; Proverbs 21 1 The king's heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; 2 People may be right in their own eyes, 3 The Lord is more pleased when we do what is right and just 4 Haughty eyes, a proud heart, 5 Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, 6 Wealth created by a lying tongue 7 The violence of the wicked sweeps them away, 8 The guilty walk a crooked path; 9 It's better to live alone in the corner of an attic 10 Evil people desire evil; 11 If you punish a mocker, the simpleminded become wise; 12 The Righteous One knows what is going on in the homes of the wicked; 13 Those who shut their ears to the cries of the poor 14 A secret gift calms anger; 15 Justice is a joy to the godly, 16 The person who strays from common sense 17 Those who love pleasure become poor; 18 The wicked are punished in place of the godly, 19 It's better to live alone in the desert 20 The wise have wealth and luxury, 21 Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love 22 The wise conquer the city of the strong 23 Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut, 24 Mockers are proud and haughty; 25 Despite their desires, the lazy will come to ruin, 26 Some people are always greedy for more, 27 The sacrifice of an evil person is detestable, 28 A false witness will be cut off, 29 The wicked bluff their way through, 30 No human wisdom or understanding or plan 31 The horse is prepared for the day of battle, Proverbs 22 1 Choose a good reputation over great riches; 2 The rich and poor have this in common: 3 A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. 4 True humility and fear of the Lord 5 Corrupt people walk a thorny, treacherous road; 6 Direct your children onto the right path, 7 Just as the rich rule the poor, 8 Those who plant injustice will harvest disaster, 9 Blessed are those who are generous, 10 Throw out the mocker, and fighting goes, too. 11 Whoever loves a pure heart and gracious speech 12 The Lord preserves those with knowledge, 13 The lazy person claims, "There's a lion out there! 14 The mouth of an immoral woman is a dangerous trap; 15 A youngster's heart is filled with foolishness, 16 A person who gets ahead by oppressing the poor
Wait for the Lord to handle the matter.
so why try to understand everything along the way?
such discipline purifies the heart.
but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.
those who love wine and luxury will never be rich.
but fools spend whatever they get.
so the borrower is servant to the lender.
but physical discipline will drive it far away.
Those led astray by drink cannot be wise.
to rouse his anger is to risk your life.
only fools insist on quarreling.
will have no food at the harvest.
a person with understanding will draw it out.
but who can find one who is truly reliable?
blessed are their children who follow them.
distinguishing the bad from the good.
I am pure and free from sin"?
the Lord detests double standards of every kind.
whether their conduct is pure, and whether it is right.
both are gifts from the Lord.
Keep your eyes open, and there will be plenty to eat!
then brags about getting a bargain!
than much gold and many rubies.
Get a deposit if he does it for foreigners.
but it turns to gravel in the mouth.
don't go to war without wise advice.
so don't hang around with chatterers.
your light will be snuffed out in total darkness.
is not a blessing in the end.
Wait for the Lord to handle the matter.
he is not pleased by dishonest scales.
so why try to understand everything along the way?
and only later counting the cost.
then runs his threshing wheel over them.
exposing every hidden motive.
his throne is made secure through love.
the gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old.
such discipline purifies the heart.
he guides it wherever he pleases.
but the Lord examines their heart.
than when we offer him sacrifices.
and evil actions are all sin.
but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.
is a vanishing mist and a deadly trap.
because they refuse to do what is just.
the innocent travel a straight road.
than with a quarrelsome wife in a lovely home.
their neighbors get no mercy from them.
if you instruct the wise, they will be all the wiser.
he will bring disaster on them.
will be ignored in their own time of need.
a bribe under the table pacifies fury.
but it terrifies evildoers.
will end up in the company of the dead.
those who love wine and luxury will never be rich.
and traitors in place of the honest.
than with a quarrelsome, complaining wife.
but fools spend whatever they get.
will find life, righteousness, and honor.
and level the fortress in which they trust.
and you will stay out of trouble.
they act with boundless arrogance.
for their hands refuse to work.
but the godly love to give!
especially when it is offered with wrong motives.
but a credible witness will be allowed to speak.
but the virtuous think before they act.
can stand against the Lord.
but the victory belongs to the Lord.
being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.
The Lord made them both.
The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.
lead to riches, honor, and long life.
whoever values life will avoid it.
and when they are older, they will not leave it.
so the borrower is servant to the lender.
and their reign of terror will come to an end.
because they feed the poor.
Quarrels and insults will disappear.
will have the king as a friend.
but he ruins the plans of the treacherous.
If I go outside, I might be killed!"
those who make the Lord angry will fall into it.
but physical discipline will drive it far away.
or by showering gifts on the rich will end in poverty.

June Two
How I struggle with this. I need to sit and pray on something that weighs on my heart not jump to conclusions and get mad or sad.
I so want to understand everything. I am not patient. Hence this blog. "Why this and why that".
Huh??
This is not wealth right. Another form of prosperity.?
From spending, right??
God does not want us to have debt.
I had to giggle. Coz I at first thought Oh God wants us to spank….right???
